Adventures in Teaching - 002Getting into the house was easy. Impressive flare and firewall spells aside, now that I knew what I was dealing with, it made it easier to see the holes in Stan’s work. Anyone who came close to the house would have to deal with a firewall spell, and the kid had tied a small explosive spell to the door. Not big enough to kill, but big enough to discourage anyone from stepping inside. But everything was sloppy, easy to unravel. If he had a teacher, he either hadn’t been taking many lessons with them, or wasn’t a very good student.Adventures in Teaching - 002 by Junisra
But if he didn’t have a teacher, this was still pretty damn impressive.
Inside the house, it wasn’t as hot as I expected it to be. Stan must have pulled back on the magic once he was inside, but there were still signs of scorch marks on the wallpaper, against the corners of doorways. He didn’t have it entirely under control.
